Goodbye Horses

One of the best things about franchise movies is that whenever there is a new installment/remake, you get a re-package or possibly even a box set of the older films. In the case of Hannibal Rising, we've been given a 2-disc Collector's Edition of Silence of the Lambs (released 1/30/07).

For a number of reasons, I own Hannibal and Red Dragon on DVD, but not Lambs. Yesterday I decided to remedy this by going to Best Buy with a recently obtained $50 gift certificate. The only problem? The staff informed me Lambs can only be purchased on their website. What? Since when does a reissue of a Academy Award winning film not get shelf space at a Best Buy? Same situation at a local Target. What gives?
